Driven past quite a few times and last night decided to call in for food and drinks. What can I say apart from WOW. Portion sizes are huge and the food was so fresh and tasty, everything we had was just perfect. The steak beat me in the end due to its size but if you want a nice meal in good surroundings then this is the place to go. Mo who greeted us and served us was excellent and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Will be back soon.

Wanted a good steak grill restaurant so booked table for dinner at Black Salt for family. Located on busy Whitchurch road so parking is limited. The staff were friendly and welcoming, interior nice and comfortable. The menu consists of grilled steaks, chicken, burgers, fish. We ordered T Bone, ribeye steak and salmon. Kids portions are available on request. The steaks were big and delicious. The generous sides of chips and veg were good too, especially the battered cauliflower! Bill including drinks was around 75 which is very reasonable. Had a nice evening, service was great and we enjoyed the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Right folks. Many people have heard me mention my top 5 meals I’ve ever had And as a big dude there have been a few meals But I can safely say that there is a new one to add to the Top Five!! Just had probably the best fillet steak I’ve ever had at Black Salt on Whitchurch Road. Absolutely amazing and highly recommended!! And a big thank you to the Master Chef Joe Staff were all amazing and super friendly. Definitely highly recommended (Can’t move now so might be here for awhile)

Second time here tonight, this time for my mums birthday, 1st class service, the staff are amazing and the owner is the best, so so friendly and approachable . The food is so beautiful it’s hard to fault. Very generous portions of fresh well prepared deliciousness. Was also able to park rite outside. Definitely our new favourite place to indulge in some beautiful food with an atmosphere to match 5

Had lunch here today and the food was absolutely fantastic. We haven't stopped talking about how amazing it was all the way home. Enjoyed by all as you can see in the photos. We will definitely be back and the owner and other waitress were so friendly and warm to the children.

This is our 3rd Christmas meal at Black Salt. A group of 9 males attended. We all had different cuts of steak and each of us thoroughly enjoyed them. We had extra portions of garlic mushrooms. bread and cauliflower in batter. This all served promptly with our main course . We had deserts which we all enjoyed. Value for money is not an understatement. Thanks to Carmella's staff once again amazing. Recommend this place every time.
